GK2750

The digital Geologic Map of the Federal Republic of Germany 1:2,750,000 (GK2750) represents the surface geology of Germany. The GK2750 provides information on the age, composition and formation of rocks on the basis of 30 geological units. It also includes tectonic line elements, marginal positions of the ice shield and impact formations.

The GK2750 is available to the public via the BGR Geoportal as a Web Map Service (WMS) and for download as a shapefile. In addition, it is accesssible in the Geoviewer of the BGR Geoportal.

The GK2750 is also available in an INSPIRE-compliant version and accessible via the BGR Geoportal as a Web Map Service (WMS) and as several GML-files. It is also visualised in the Geoviewer of the BGR Geoportal. According to the INSPIRE requirements, the GML files are provided as download via an Atom Feed.
